Hi all, just Matty here, figured I had a little time to kill, so why not drop a line on ya'll, and say "Hi." (wave) So, figure I'll also give ya a little update on how Matty's life is going.

First off, if you hadn't heard...THE YANKEES WON!!!! Yes, I said it back when we signed Sabathia...Yankees..2009 World Champs!!! (I know I did, I just don't wanna look for it!!) But they did it, and I'm happy now!!! Finally, 9 years of my teams not winning anything, close a couple of times, but no champagne. Until this past Wednesday night...When Mariano threw that pitch to Victorino...a lazy ground ball to Cano..toss to Texiera...and time to celebrate!!! (And by the way, if you want to comment about this, and say "They bought it." Please, save yours and my time, and don't...I've heard it all before..and really...I don't wanna hear it here too...k..Thanks!)

Ok, so I watched the premier of "V". I'm gonna give it a shot...but, the first sign of Scott Wolf becoming "Mr. Bad Ass"...I'm outta there, he never was, is, or ever will be a "bad ass"..so please TV writers...stop trying to make him one. I am old enough to have watched the original "V" (Mark Singer was in that one...and c'mon, how cool was that when the chick gave birth to the lizard baby?? Man, if you saw that in my school..you were the man!!..Ok, so it was like 4th grade...you take what you can.) It wasn't too bad, yet....but the jury (ie, ME) is still reserving judgement for now.

Had a visit with a couple of good friends this week...Jaymen and Jackie...and their kids...Addi..and Lincoln. Addi actually remembered me this time, and we played catch in the kitchen with her tiny football...yes, she is a drama queen...but what 3 yr old isn't?? And Lincoln...now that's my boy. He was a biggun when he was born, and he hasn't disappointed yet..he's still big. And he loves my goatee...and has a nice grip going. (yeah, that was fun.) But I think the funniest part was the fact that he would grab something, anything really...get a good grip on it...look at it for just a second..and look at it as if to say..."Yup, gonna put that in my mouth too." (Loved the look on his face when he saw my thumb...I think he got excited.)

On a sad note, my little "experiment" with the "Heels" drawing didn't quite pan out the way I had hoped it would. So, probably not gonna post that one, but in my quest to grow, I knew it was gonna happen. Now, gonna do it again, but this time, a little different. Not giving up on this color thing folks...have a few big ideas in my head here people. (of course, you really don't want to spend much time in there. I heard once someone said "If you were in my head, you would run like f#@k!" I laughed and thought..."Yeah, you'd run from theirs...if you were in MY head..you'd probably question the will to continue living." Sorry, it's what happens when you have Lady GaGa in your head for about a week....but...at least it's not Britany Spears singing Pantera. That happened once...it was not pretty guys.)

My thoughts and prayers are going to the people down at Ft. Hood, after that tragedy this past week. And also to all the troops as they are out there, putting everything on the line for all of us.
