The Crow. Though it came out in 1994, it was a movie I have loved since the first time I saw it. But over the years, the movie, and some of the lessons in it, have taken on very different meanings. When I saw it the first time, it was mainly because of the tragedy that took Brandon Lee, like his father, taken much too young in life. Then a few years later, in 2000, my father passed away. I watched the movie a few times, and during it, two quotes really kind of hit home to me, and helped me cope with everything I was thinking at the time, and also how to deal with life in general.

Eric: Little things used to mean so much to Shelley. I used to think they were kind of trivial, believe me nothing is trivial.

Sara: If the people we love are taken from us, the way they live on is to never stop loving them.Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever....

So, this is my tribute to a movie, that though dark and dreary at times, really has lessons laying under the surface, that more people should hear.
